Pearcedale is a small Victorian town 50 km south-east of Melbourne's CBD, in the local government area of the City of Casey.
Pearcedale is a small village on the northern edge of the Mornington Peninsula, surrounded by horse properties and market gardens. It is the first town encountered when travelling from Melbourne via the Monash Freeway.
Views of Western Port Bay can be seen though roadside trees, as the town is only 3km from the bay. Local attractions include an Angora goat stud and knitting mill, an iris nursery and a wildlife conservation park, which operates evening tours allowing visitors to see endangered Australian animals
The township itself has all amenities including a full range of shops and petrol, just 2km off the highway.
Pearcedale Primary School serves the town, with more schools in neighbouring areas.
Nearby hospitals and medical facilities include Frankston Hospital, Peninsula Private Hospital, St John of God Nepean Rehabilitation Hospital, Frankston Community Rehabilitation Centre and Peninsula Health Rehabilitation Aged & Palliative Care Service.
