Albany Creek is about 17km north-west of Brisbane, bordered by Bunyaville State Forest on one side and South Pine River on the other.
Originally called ‘Chinaman’s Creek’, the suburb features an assortment of homes, small villa complexes and acreage properties. The neighbouring suburbs of Cashmere, Eatons Hill and Warner feature large acreage properties.
Albany Creek is within close proximity of both Westfield Strathpine and Westfield Chermside shopping centres. The suburb boasts many fast food outlets, Woolworths and Coles shopping complexes and a variety of other shopping facilities. There are regular bus services to Brisbane’s CBD.
