2011 Raine & Horne NSW/ACT Awards for Excellence winners announced

Hundreds of Raine & Horne colleagues from across NSW and the ACT gathered in Sydney recently to recognise the leading property group’s best principals, sales agents and property managers for 2011.

The glittering annual event, held at the prestigious Westin Hotel, attracted a record 400 guests, which also unveiled a number of first-time winners including Andrew Sorensen, Co-Principal of Raine & Horne Charmhaven, who grabbed the hotly contested Top Salesperson (Number of Sales) category.

Other major winners included Michael Harris, Co-Principal of Raine & Horne Newtown, who was awarded the Top Salesperson (Dollar Value) gong for his efforts in 2011.

Eastern suburbs real estate powerhouse Raine & Horne Double Bay, led by Martin Maskin, Barry Goldman, Michael Pallier and Ric Serrao, continued its domination of the offices categories with its dual victories in the Top Office (Number of Sales) and (Dollar Value) categories.

A repeat winner, Raine & Horne Wellington, was named Top Rural Office (Dollar Value), while Raine & Horne Bathurst grabbed the Top Country Office (Dollar Value) award. Raine & Horne Batemans Bay nudged Raine & Horne Terrigal-Avoca for the Top Coastal (Dollar Value) prize.

Raine & Horne Commercial also announced its leading agents and offices for 2011, with Raine & Horne Commercial Canberra dominating. The leading ACT commercial office grabbed Top Commercial Office (Dollar Value), while Raine & Horne Commercial Canberra Principal Frank Morella grabbed two titles, Top Commercial Salesperson ‘sales dollar value’ and ‘leasing dollar value’. Michael Laing, Co-Principal of Raine & Horne Commercial Bondi Junction, was rewarded with the Top Commercial Salesperson (Number of Leasing Transactions) for 2011.

“2011 was a big year for Raine & Horne, with the successful rebrand of our 129 year-old company, along with the addition of five new offices at Brighton Le Sands, Eastwood, Narrabeen, Bankstown and Gosford,” said Angus Raine, CEO, Raine & Horne.
