Annual awards demonstrate Raine & Horne's national growth

It has offices located in every state and territory, so it was fitting that the major gongs presented at Raine & Horne’s prestigious annual National Awards were shared by a cross section of winners from around Australia.

Held at the fashionable Outrigger Little Hastings Street Resort & Spa on the Queensland Sunshine Coast on 23 August, Raine & Horne Double Bay was named the leading network’s best sales office for 'number of sales' and 'dollar value'. 

Raine & Horne Double Bay Co-Principal Michael Pallier also secured a win in the competitive Top Salesperson ($ value) category.

However, Raine & Horne Double Bay shared the success with gun Raine & Horne Collaroy Co-Principal, Lachlan Yeates, named Raine & Horne’s top salesperson in the dollar value category.

Other major winners included Frank Morella, Principal, Raine & Horne Commercial Canberra, who dominated the commercial sales and leasing categories, although Hudson Dale, Sales & Leasing Agent, Raine & Horne Commercial Brisbane North, grabbed the Commercial Salesperson (number of transactions) award.

Melbourne-based Glyn Bosisto was named Top Commercial Salesperson (number of sales) for 2011.

Raine & Horne CEO Angus Raine, CEO said it was pleasing to see the major awards spread across the states and territories, which was an indication that Raine & Horne was continually growing its brand nationally.

“The strength of our brand is built on the joint efforts of our principals, agents, property managers and staff,” Mr Raine said.

In an emotional presentation, Raine & Horne Chairman Max Raine presented the National Chairman’s Award to Dennis Wey, Principal of Raine & Horne Beenleigh and Raine & Horne Commercial Beenleigh, who has been with the company for 28 years.

“Dennis has been a champion of the Raine & Horne brand, and was even at our first ever national conference in 1984 and has never missed one since,” Mr Raine said.

Over the years Mr Wey has served as a Regional Chairperson and has been a consistent member of the Franchise Advisory Council in Queensland.

“Dennis has helped us establish a number of offices in Queensland and has assisted literally tens of thousands of Australians into a home since 1983 and absolutely deserves this important award,” Mr Raine said.
