Bathurst Market Update June 2016

Grant sits down to wrap up the Bathust Market for June 2016.

Although the weather has cooled off, we certainly have not seen the market slowing down, with property moving along nice and steady.

With winter even bringing record sales in particular the suburb of Windradyne achieving a sale price of $600,000 plus, with the median house price sitting at 379,000 this was an excellent result for our vendors.

The month of June has shown a massive demand for property in Bathurst and its surroundings especially in that 300K – 400K bracket. Average days on market have dropped now being approximately 60 days. With similar homes on the market and more properties transacting figures are still on improve from last month. We have seen more enquires and certainly when a home is priced right the property is moving very quickly.

We have new homes hitting the market which will in turn increase buyer activity and will hopefully continue to build our momentum through to spring.

If you are thinking of selling this winter or just want an up to date price on your home, call our office and let us help you prepare your property for sale before the spring rush.. Maximise your return while competition is low and buyer activity is high.
