Bathurst Market Update September 2016

Well September officially marked the beginning of spring – and while we haven’t seen much sunshine in amongst these rain clouds – we have seen some good movement in the market.

Over the Bathurst Market the median house value is sitting around $374,000 and units at $271,900. Interestingly, over the last 12 months we have seen a change in these medians of over 10%, which is a great sign for the strength of the Bathurst Market.

Average days on the market are remaining at a steady 60 days – which we are expecting to heat up as the weather progresses and the market continues to push forward with the spring.

During the month of September we saw a steady intake of properties coming on to the market, and our sales team have been kept busy with appraisals of some fantastic properties.

September saw some sensational sales such as 45 Morrow Place at an undisclosed price, this 4 bedroom, open plan property complete with pool and views over Bathurst was something special. From our rural side we saw a great result with 28 Bridle Track, a cracking property on the outskirts of town set upon approx. 98 arable acres. Selling for $545,000, this was a great result for our vendors.

If you have been sitting on your decision to sell throughout the winter then now is the perfect time to contact the office for an up to date price on your home. Let us look after you with honest advice, and the right price.

If you would like any further information on the Bathurst market please don’t hesitate to contact the office.
