Castle Hill’s elite agents join Superbrand Raine & Horne

Media release - 10th November, 2015

Superbrand Raine & Horne has expanded its marketing reach in Sydney’s Hills District with the launch of Raine & Horne Castle Hill.

Prominently located on Castle Hill’s real estate alley at 6/25 Terminus St, the new office will be led by licenced real estate agent (LREA) Alex Rouggos, who has rebadged his independent business, Elite Property Agents, to the charcoal and gold of Raine & Horne.

Alex & Melody Rouggos“As a boutique agency, we were growing organically, however when Raine & Horne approached us, its Superbrand status resonated with our team,” says Mr Rouggos.

Before launching Elite Property Agents in 2009, Mr Rouggos enjoyed a long career in sales and marketing with another Superbrand, consumer electronics behemoth, Philips.

“While at Philips I developed an appreciation for the power of a Superbrand and this prompted me to link with another multinational firm such as Raine & Horne, once we made the decision to switch to a larger group,” says Mr Rouggos.

Transferring to Raine & Horne ticked a number of boxes for Mr Rouggos and his growing sales and property management business.

“Coming from a consumer electronics background, I can see that Raine & Horne is successfully combining the power of its brand with the latest technology and this presents my clients with an enhanced value proposition,” says Mr Rouggos.

“Real estate is also a technology industry and with its excellent new website rh.com.au, the alliance with China’s biggest property portal Juwai, and its consumer information portal rhfusion.com.au, Raine & Horne is undoubtedly an IT market leader.

By linking with Raine & Horne, Mr Rouggos also says his office can offer more horsepower to customers.

“That said, even though I have joined a market leader such as Raine & Horne there is still the opportunity to maintain the unique vendor and landlord experience that we have developed over the last six years.”

The launch of Raine & Horne Castle Hill has been timed to perfection with the massive infrastructure investment in the Hills District, coupled with a series of council zoning changes, set to underpin real estate activity and values long-term according to Mr Rouggos.

Raine & Horne Castle Hill“This market is still evolving, with huge infrastructure investment such as the North West Rail Link and the North Connex road link set to bring more people to the region,” says Mr Rouggos, who has lived in the Hills District his entire life.

“Councils are also rezoning to deliver more medium density housing in our region, with more apartment blocks to be built around the two new stations that will service Castle Hill and potentially the new station at Cherrybrook as well.

“Castle Hill is a transitioning area, and there will be more opportunities for first home buyers as a result.”

Raine & Horne Executive Chairman, Angus Raine, said that launching Raine & Horne Castle Hill is a key piece in the puzzle of the Superbrand’s strategy for the Hills District.

“Raine & Horne Castle Hill will be a lynchpin in our strategic expansion in The Hills. The new offices joins Raine & Horne Bella Vista to the west, Raine & Horne Rouse Hill to the northwest and Raine & Horne Baulkham Hills in the region’s south,” says Mr Raine.

“On a personal level, I’m pleased to welcome Alex and his team to Raine & Horne, who have already wrapped themselves in the Raine & Horne brand.

“They all know The Hills region back-to-front and tellingly, all of the team live locally, and I expect them to be one of the best offices in Sydney very quickly.”
