The following checklist will ensure you maximise the sale price and minimise your days on market.
Outside
& Repair, paint, oil, or varnish your gate and fence
& Replace or straighten a wonky letterbox
& Repair cracks and remove oil stains from the driveway
& Ensure the garden and lawns are weeded, mowed, and watered
& Clean and repair gutters
& Remove cobwebs from the eaves
& Reseal or repair any damage to the roof
& Ensure any paving is free of weeds and slippery build up
& Replace damaged fly screens or window panes
Inside
& Clean thoroughly – consider professional cleaning
& Air freshen if necessary
& Remove clutter
& Replace light globes and ensure any light covers are clean
& Clean blinds & curtains and check operation
& Polish floors
& Straighten any pictures or artwork
Lounge
& Dust thoroughly
& De-clutter any personal possessions and magazines
