Franchising wizards launch Raine & Horne Upper Coomera

Superbrand Raine & Horne has recruited franchising specialists Saskia and Gary Bartsch to launch its newest office on Queensland’s Gold Coast. 

Raine & Horne Upper Coomera will launch on Monday 29 of May and will be officially opened by Angus Raine, Executive Chairman of Raine & Horne.

Raine & Horne has a long history dating back to 1883 and it commenced its operations in Queensland in 1982. Mr Raine is the fourth member of his family to lead the real estate Superbrand.

“We have opened 29 new offices in Queensland in the past 2 years, making us the fastest growing real estate group in this state,” said Angus Raine.

“That said, we are looking to expand the brand further with nine offices set to launch this year, and as part of our recruitment, we are seeking quality principals with real estate knowledge and strong business building expertise such as Saskia and Gary.”

Gary and Saskia Bartsch established and sold a very successful business Mr Globologist[i]that delivers lighting and compliance. The lighting specialist had a national franchise network of 30 offices Australia-wide.

After considering the merits of a number of real estate groups, Gary and Saskia chose Raine & Horne because they were made to feel welcome by the Superbrand’s senior management.

“Given our experience on the other side of the franchising coin, we have a number of boxes such as systems, IT support, marketing and the right corporate culture that must be ticked,” said Gary Bartsch.

“More importantly, we were warmly received by the likes of business support and development manager Sheryl Turnell. We found Raine & Horne to be a really sincere group of people, who continually go the extra mile to help us.”

Raine & Horne Upper Coomera will be delivering sales and property management services to the region, and have already listed a number of properties for sale.

“Initially, we have a team of 3 and will look to expand with some additional headcount after our first quarter,” said Saskia Bartsch.

“We will be focussing on building a rent roll from the start, as this will give us the opportunity to grow the business.

“Real estate is the biggest investment for many people and we want to let owners, buyers and investors know we will be here to help them every step of the way.

Property management will not be an afterthought at Raine & Horne Upper Coomera, according to Saskia Bartsch.

“We have been caught up in the rental market before, needing to move home for business reasons a number of times,” she said.

“We understand that tenants can sometimes get the cold shoulder from property managers. We will be treating them with dignity and delivering the highest level of service.”
