Mandurah real estate firm scores property award double for third year

Perth, Western Australia (21 March 2018) Raine & Horne Mandurah is officially one of WA’s most successful regional property firms after winning a stunning eight major awards at the 2018 Raine & Horne WA Awards, in addition to several additional accolades.

Held at Perth’s premier event venue, the Crown casino in Burswood on Saturday night, the glittering evening combined as a celebration of Raine & Horne’s 135-year anniversary and the Annual industry awards.

The highlight of the entertaining event, hosted by Angus Raine, Executive Chairman, Raine & Horne was the Mandurah firm’s dual victories in the competitive Top Office Number of Sales and Top Office Dollar Value categories for 2017. Raine & Horne Rockingham Beach was named Top Office – Auction Listing, breaking Mandurah’s vicelike grip on the office awards.

“This is a tremendous effort by Principal Peter Vetten and his team, who are regularly among our best offices in Western Australia,” noted Mr Raine noted.

“Peter has been able to win these awards despite some challenging conditions as Mandurah continues to bounce back from the mining downturn.”

Mr Vetten enjoyed personal glory, winning the Top Salesperson (Principal) – Number of Sales and Top Salesperson (Principal) – Dollar Value. The former investment banker finished ahead of long-term colleague, Larry Gallagher of Raine & Horne North Perth and Tim Chant of Raine & Horne Cannington in both categories.

In a night of celebration for Raine & Horne Mandurah, Randolf Watson was named the property group’s Top Salesperson - Number of Sales beating home Susan Pitts of Raine & Horne Bunbury and Raine & Horne Rockingham Beach’s David Dennett. Mr Watson also won an award for Local Community Excellence.

Ms Pitts turned the tables in the Top Salesperson Dollar Value category, finishing ahead of Mr Dennett with Mr Watson in third.

Other significant winners from Raine & Horne Mandurah, included Diana Gilbert who was named the group’s Outstanding Office Support. Gavan Paton from Raine & Horne Mandurah was named Outstanding Property Manager.

For his efforts, Mr Patton was elevated into the Raine & Horne’s Chairman’s Club for property management, along with Paula Clarke of Raine & Horne Bunbury. Ms Clarke also won Outstanding Business Development – Property Management.

Raine & Horne Bunbury led by Managing Director Alec Marra and licensee Rosetta Patane also supplied several other winners including Karlene Ecclestone who won the Outstanding Marketing Award – Salesperson and Mikaela North who won the Rookie Award – Property Management. Raine & Horne Bunbury also won the award for Office Marketing Excellence.

Raine & Horne North Perth’s Larry Gallagher won an Award for Excellence.

“The Award for Excellence was presented to Larry in recognition of his service to Raine & Horne over many years and to property consumers in North Perth,” said Mr Raine. Raine & Horne North Perth was also named the group’s Top Office Business Growth for Dollar Value and Number of Sales.
