New proprietors at Raine & Horne Lithgow

Lynette Way and Jaharn Turner, the new proprietors of Raine & Horne Lithgow, have been real estate colleagues for the past 10 years and have a whopping 40 years worth of property experience between them.

Most recently they owned and operated a Lithgow estate office since 2006 that was linked to another property group.

However, Lynette and Jaharn decided the time was ripe for change and jumped at the opportunity to take the reins at Raine & Horne Lithgow when the business went on the market.

“We didn’t hesitate in researching Raine & Horne when the franchise came up for sale,” Lynette said.

With over 25 years experience in the real estate industry, Lynette has expertise in all aspects of the business including administration, buying, selling and property management. Likewise, Jaharn Turner has over 15 years of real estate experience.

The shift to Raine & Horne is timely as Lynette and Jaharn believe that Lithgow, just a two hour drive from Sydney, is squarely on the investment radar of city buyers. 

“The Sydney market is edging people out, so savvy investors are looking for areas outside the city,” Jaharn said.

Lynette added that two to three bedroom houses in Lithgow, complete with a lock-up-garage, were selling for between $180,000 and $200,000.

“The rental return on these properties is also good at around $220 per week,” she said.
