Commitment to digital marketing proving good business for Fairfield agent

April 17, 2019

An innovative, digital listing tool exclusive to Raine & Horne is assisting a Fairfield real estate firm list more houses and apartments for sale and attract more property management business from landlords.

Raine & Horne Fairfield led by principal Chris Hart has won the exclusive rights to list the remaining apartments for sale in a new residential building at 68-70 The Horsley Drive, Carramar which will be completed just after Easter, as well as several new property managements including a 2-bedroom apartment at 16/35-39 York Street Fairfield.

Called Digikit, the ground-breaking appraisal, and listing application enables a sales agent or property manager located in Fairfield to create tailored, professional marketing documents within minutes for potential vendors, investors and landlords with the click of a button. Digikit provides real-time market analytics, and a client can submit feedback, and this information is delivered instantly to the mobile phone of an agent or property manager.

Mr Hart explains, “Thanks to Digikit we listed a block of brand-new apartments in Carramar, on behalf of a private the vendor, who worked as a sale agent previously and was a principal of a successful real estate business about five years ago.

“The vendor was so impressed by the professional and informative Digikit that she instantly listed the properties with us.”

With the help of the marketing team at Raine & Horne’s head office, Mr Hart and his team customised the Digikit presentation to suit the unique nature of the development with price lists and marketing strategies that set their listing proposal apart from the competition. One-bedroom apartments in the building are available from $395,000, with two-bedroom units starting from $489,000 and $628,000 for a three-bedroom apartment.

The vendor was extremely impressed with the format and ease of use of Digikit remarking that, ‘The other agents provided us with in-house printed proposals which on their own look good but once we received yours, we knew you were miles ahead of the competition.’”

In addition, Mr Hart has secured the building to sell exclusively because of Digikit, and has established an ongoing relationship with the developer, who is planning more developments.

Digikit delivers tenant to long term rental vacancy

The Fairfield office also recently listed a fully-renovated two-bedroom apartment for rent at 16/35-39 York Street, Fairfield, after another Fairfield agent has failed to attract a single perspective renter over the previous four weeks.

Mr Hart, says, “The landlord, who prefers to maintain his anonymity, contacted us to see if we could secure him a tenant, and we put together our property management Digikit proposal immediately. Better still, within minutes of receiving the proposal, the landlord called to give us the property.

“He found the whole process to be extraordinarily professional, and it instantly built trust for our brand and office. He could see the value we add as expert property managers, and he had no hesitation in paying our management fee and advertising costs, as well as listening to our recommended rental estimate of $370 a week.

“Subsequently, we leased the property after the first open house, and the landlord has already referred us to another landlord, which has led to another management.”
