Owner-occupiers and investors vie for Yamba property

Yamba's property market is enjoying a surge in strong property enquiries from owner-occupiers and investors, according to a leading local real estate agent.

Raine & Horne Yamba proprietor Denise Jillett said that while enquiry was strong, the Yamba market was also experiencing positive sales volume.

“We’ve had a good mix of owner occupiers and investors and high demand for properties in the lower end of the market - up to $400,000. This sector continues to be a strong performer,” Ms Jillett said.

“There has also been promising sales in the prestige market for waterfront properties.

Leading the charge into the Yamba property market were southern Queenslanders attracted to the excellent lifestyle.

“South-east Queenslanders have been buying, with a view to retiring in Yamba,” Ms Jillet explained.
