Raine & Horne Auction Advantage+ delivers 60% more coverage for its vendors

Auction program delivers excellent results for vendors
Raine & Horne’s Auction Advantage+ programme, which involved the successful auction of 22 properties in Sydney’s robust Inner West between 5 and 12 May, 2012, has proven a major success and delivered homeowners with 60% more advertising coverage, according to the leading property group.
“It is Raine & Horne’s biggest auction campaign in 2012 that is a concentrated on a single region, and is a first for Sydney’s inner west,” says Angus Raine, CEO, Raine & Horne.
“By pooling the resources of the 15-strong office network in the region, we have been able to deliver some excellent value to sellers.
“I’d also like to congratulate Raine & Horne’s 15 offices in the inner west, who have recognised the edge an auction event like this can give to our sellers in the marketplace.”
According to Mr Raine, an auction gives buyers a deadline and tells the market the seller is serious.
“This is important in the current market, where homes sold via private treaty can sit on the market for much longer than they probably should.”
Mr Raine adds, “Taking a home to auction also gives a seller greater opportunity to exchange before, during, and after the auction.”
Michael Smith, Principal of Raine & Horne Marrickville, agrees with Mr Raine and says the campaign has delivered greater awareness of the breadth and reach of the brand in the Inner West.
“Not only do we have 15 offices, but a staggering 100 sales agents, specialising in Inner West real estate, who are delivering more sales on behalf of sellers than any other real estate firm in the region,” says Mr Smith.
“As a result of our scale, our sellers have received more bang for their buck and with the support of Raine & Horne head office, we’ve been able to deliver our vendors 60% more advertising coverage across the print and online media,” says Mr Smith.
Vincent Montano, Principal of Raine & Horne Leichhardt, Annandale, Drummoyne and Balmain concurs that by linking arms, properties listed for auction with a Raine & Horne office in the Inner West have a major edge over those listed with the competition.
“By encompassing all media channels, properties listed in our Balmain office, for example, can now reach buyers residing all over the Inner West,” says Mr Montano.
Gerard Hill, Principal of Raine & Horne Newtown adds, “We are confident these campaigns will showcase homes to more buyers and as a consequence deliver premium prices.
“So successful has this collaboration proven to be, we already have another Raine & Horne Auction Advantage+ campaign scheduled to launch to coincide with the traditional spring selling market in September.”
As part of its marketing push, Raine & Horne also launched the monthly booklet, ‘&Homes Inner West’ in late 2011, which is being distributed through its office network, cafes and car wash outlets.
“&Homes Inner West showcases the latest listings, sales results, tips and tricks for homeowners and even the latest entertainment and lifestyle news,” says Mr Hill.
“It’s clearly proving such a hit that some of our competitors have copied it, however without the reach delivered by 15 offices across the region, they’ll find it difficult to replicate the success of our publication.”
