Bay Island, QLD (1 March 2017) Raine & Horne Bay Islands was named Raine & Horne’s best office for business growth (based on dollar value) in Queensland and Northern NSW in 2016.

It is the second year in a row the leading south-east Queensland real estate firm, which is led by principal Sandra Hutchison has won this coveted award. Ms Hutchison accepted the prize at the recent Raine & Horne Queensland State awards, held at the luxurious Jupiter’s Casino on the Queensland Gold Coast.

The win is a huge result for the team at Raine & Horne Bay Islands, given the massive growth of the Raine & Horne brand in Queensland in recent years. In 2016, for example, Raine & Horne launched offices in Redcliffe and Banora Point, Kenmore, Goodna, Springfield, Ipswich, Mackay, Mackay Beaches, Moranbah, Mermaid Beach, Logan City, Greenbank, Murwillumbah, Cleveland Sales, Brisbane Central and a commercial office in Mackay.

“Sandra has cultivated a winning sales and property management team,” said Angus Raine, Executive Chairman, Raine & Horne.

“At the same time, we have been the fastest growing network in Queensland and Raine & Horne Bay Islands is contributing to this growth in a major way. It’s for this reason that I’m pleased that Sandra and her team have won the business growth gong for a second year in a row.”

Raine & Horne Bay Islands also took out 5th best office in the state, with sales ace Brian Scaysbrook and rookie agent Kylie Coyle recognised among the top performers in Queensland.

“The win by the Raine & Horne Bay Islands highlights the hard work and strength the team has maintained in the local area,” said Mr Raine.

“Being a 30-year Bay side local, Sandra knows the importance of in-depth local knowledge, which she attributes as one of the key factors in her firm’s success.”

“Our sales staff works very hard and their local knowledge is second to none – everyone who visits our office for the first time gets a personal tour of the island, while we also look after their holiday bookings if they decide to stay,” said Ms Hutchison.

“This area has so much to offer families and is a special place to live, so we’re very happy to share it with anybody who’s considering buying here.”

Ms Hutchison says local competition spurred her office on to bigger and better things.

“We have three other agencies on Macleay Island, servicing a population of 3,000 people, so we have to be proactive and tenacious in the marketplace.

“That’s why we’re open 7 days a week, working hard for our Bayside community. We pride ourselves on always taking an extra stride for our clients, while the growth of the Raine & Horne brand in Queensland is increasingly helping us win more appraisals and listings.”
