Raine & Horne Bunbury dominates industry awards

After sharing the spoils in recent years, Raine & Horne Bunbury dominated the 2015 Annual Raine & Horne Western Australia Awards, held at Fremantle’s iconic Rydges Esplanade Hotel on Saturday 27 February.

The leading south western WA property firm, led by principals Alec Marra and Rosetta Patane, won the Top Office Number of Sales and Top Office Dollar Value awards. In both categories, it nudged out rivals Raine & Horne Rockingham Beach and Raine & Horne Mandurah.

Raine & Horne Bunbury was also named the network’s Top Office for Business Growth in both the number of sales and dollar value categories. Raine & Horne Mandurah broke the southern firm’s dominance by winning the Top Auction Office category.

Raine & Horne Bunbury’s red-hot sales team also scored individual gongs, with Susan Pitts named Raine & Horne WA’s Top Salesperson Dollar Value, closely followed by David Dennett from Raine & Horne Rockingham Beach in second. Raine & Horne Bunbury’s Christine Luxford ran a creditable third.

Mr Dennett turned the tables in the Top Salesperson Number of Sales category, taking first place from Ms Pitts and Ms Luxford. Steve Lloyd-Smith from Raine & Horne Bunbury was named the network’s best Rookie Salesperson for 2015, while Ms Pitts won an Award for Excellence based on her service to Raine & Horne.

Demonstrating that Raine & Horne Bunbury’s success stems from the top, Co-Principal Rosetta Patane grabbed third in the Top Salesperson (Principal) Number of Sales category. She finished behind category winner Tim Chant, Principal of Raine & Horne Cannington, and Larry Gallagher from Raine & Horne North Perth. Mr Chant also grabbed first in the Top Salesperson (Principal) Dollar Value category from Raine & Horne Mandurah’s Peter Vetten, with Mr Gallagher in third.

Raine & Horne Mandurah’s Jessica Baker and Sarah-Jane Deeny from Raine & Horne Commercial WA tied for first in the Outstanding Office Support category, with Raine & Horne Rockingham Beach’s Lesley Grigo winning the gong for Outstanding Property Manager. Michelle Watson from Raine & Horne Cannington won the Rookie Award for Property Management. 

Finally, Raine & Horne Rockingham Beach, led by Principal Paul Curran, won the award for Outstanding Marketing.
