Raine & Horne delivers Fresh Start to industry newcomers

Raine & Horne is enhancing its image as an employer of choice with the launch of its innovative training and recruitment program, Fresh Start, which is designed for real estate novices.

“We’re excited to announce Fresh Start, which is a comprehensive training and recruitment program for those people who are brand new to real estate,” said Angus Raine, Executive Chairman and CEO, Raine & Horne.

“One of the big issues in real estate is recruitments, and Fresh Start is one very proactive way we are addressing this issue.”

The Fresh Start program includes 10 monthly workshops, which will be delivered on a monthly basis in Sydney and Brisbane.

Fresh Start is not an alternative to the Certificate of Registration or a Real Estate Licence but is an adjunct to the industry’s recognised qualifications, according to Mr Raine.

Raine & Horne launched its first Fresh Start workshops in Sydney and Brisbane this week, under the guidance of sales ace and fully-accredited real estate agent Michael Baliviera.

“In his first class in Sydney, Michael coached a recent Raine & Horne recruit, who has just one days’ worth of real estate experience under his belt, as well as a 12-year sales veteran with expertise in a number of business sectors, who is looking to refresh his skills,” said Mr Raine.

“Residential markets along the East Coast are enjoying strong runs, and this is catching the eye of budding agents and seasoned sales professionals, who are eager for quality real estate training.”

Fresh Start will cover issues such as the role of prospecting and target marketing, negotiation techniques, as well as customer service best practice, time management and business planning and management.

“The workshops will also address real estate specific training such as how to conduct a listing appointment and the processes involved in listing a property. It will also provide an overview of the auction system,” said Mr Raine.

“With real estate the flavour of the month, we believe Fresh Start is a must for anyone who is new to our industry and sales.”
