Raine & Horne earns a gold star with new Riverwood office

Media release - 09 March, 2017

Superbrand Raine & Horne has launched an office at Riverwood as it continues its aggressive expansion in Sydney’s south.

Raine & Horne opened 28 offices nationally in 2016, making it the fastest growing real estate network in Australia.

Raine & Horne Riverwood is led by sales whiz, Gary Singh, who has rebadged his business Goldstarr Property Group to the famous charcoal and gold of the 134- year old real estate firm. Mr Singh launched Goldstarr in 2015 and the firm has since sold approximately 100 properties.

“The new office, which is located at 247-253 Belmore Road, Riverwood, will service the sales and property needs of vendors, buyers, investors and tenants living in Riverwood and Peakhurst, and surrounding suburbs,” said Angus Raine, Executive Chairman of Raine & Horne.

“Gary Singh has taken the decision to switch to Raine & Horne as he has realised that our brand will get him in front of more owners in his patch.

“He’s got excellent local market knowledge, an outstanding sales record and a good team around him and I look forward to working with Gary to help him take his business to the next level.”

A resident of Peakhurst, Mr Singh met with several major networks before settling on Raine & Horne.

“Raine & Horne is very strong in the South West and this influenced my decision,” said Mr Singh, who also has experience working in real estate in Sydney’s Hills district.

“We estimate that by being able to say we’re from Raine & Horne has improved by 50% our chances of potential vendors welcoming us into their homes.

“I used to go to properties for appraisals as Gold Starr and owners would say, ‘We don't know you. You seem to be new in this industry.’ It’s our experience that Raine & Horne helps us open doors and gets us appraisal meetings.”

On the market front, Mr Singh said suburbs such as Riverwood and Peakhurst have seen a surge in new apartment developments

It’s possible to buy off the plan apartments priced between $700,000- $800,000 in Riverwood and this is increasingly attracting first home buyers armed with government subsidies,” he said.
