Raine & Horne launches new Canley Heights office

Raine & Horne launches new Canley Heights office

Leading south west Sydney real estate agent Vic Fasan has opened a second Raine & Horne office at 231 Canley Vale road, Canley Heights.

Mr Fasan, who independently owns and operates Raine & Horne Cabramatta, was joined by 120 local business people, property owners and investors at the launch of the new office on Tuesday December 8.
With more than 15 years operating Raine & Horne Cabramatta, Mr Fasan says a number of trends encouraged him to set up shop in Canley Heights.
“The lure of lower commercial leases is drawing businesses such as restaurants, butchers and grocers to Canley Heights.”
“As a result employers and employees have decided they want to move closer to work, which has pushed demand up for Canley Heights homes. In fact, since 2005, home prices have jumped about 20%.”
Mr Fasan says that investors from Sydney’s inner west suburbs such as Marrickville are also attracted by Canley Heights relative value. “It’s possible to pick up duplex homes from $350,000 which will yield weekly rents of up to $400. This represents healthy gross yields of almost 6%.
“The growing interest in knockdown houses and continued investment in nearby suburbs is also a positive sign for developers considering Canley Heights for future developments,” adds Mr Fasan.
The experienced real estate agent is also very positive about the outlook for local home owners in 2010.
“I believe prices will stabilise, however a scarcity of quality stock is sure to put upward pressure on prices. This means if you own a property in Cabramatta or Canley Heights, now is a great time to consider a home upgrade to take advantage of the recent growth in prices,” says Mr Fasan.
A second office in South West Sydney is about building on the excellent brand recognition that Raine & Horne enjoys in the region.
“The Raine & Horne brand gives us strength to promote our unique property services to the same people, the same owners but in a different location,” explains Mr Fasan.
“At the end of the day I just wanted to underline to our customers that this new business was going to be run by Raine & Horne. It was about promoting a name that is synonymous with property in the region and is already established.”
Angus Raine, CEO, Raine & Horne, says, “The team at Raine & Horne Canley Heights will be first-rate additions to our exceptional network in Sydney’s south west. Vic is well-known for his commitment to the local community and property consumers,” Mr Raine said
