Superbrand Raine & Horne has launched an office in leafy Lindfield, its second office on Sydney’s prestigious North Shore.

Raine & Horne Lindfield is being led by an experienced local agent, Dana Yang, who started her real estate career 19 years ago. Ms Yang says Lindfield, which is home to a selection of state and private schools is popular with local and overseas buyers.

“Schools in Lindfield include Lindfield Public School, Lindfield East Public School, Newington College Preparatory School, Holy Family Catholic Primary School, and Masada College (K-6),” said Ms Yang.

Currently, the accepted suburbs within the catchment area for Killara High include Roseville, West Lindfield, Lindfield, East Lindfield, West Killara, Killara, East Killara, West Gordon and East Gordon, while the school’s famous alumni include supermodel and businesswoman, Elle McPherson, and former Wallaby and World Cup winner, Andrew Blades.

“Both local and overseas buyers are securing houses and apartments in the region to be close to schools, with some are even renting to enable their children to be eligible for schools such as Killara High,” said Ms Yang.

The median price in Lindfield is currently $2.1 million for houses, and $820,000 for apartments.

“As a former school teacher, I’m very motivated to help families move into the area for education purposes, as getting into the right school zone is paramount for these buyers – it’s their overriding goal.

“Lindfield is on the train line, so it doesn’t take long to get to Chatswood.  North Sydney and the city for work, which is another attraction for local and overseas buyers,” said Ms Yang, who has been residing in Sydney for over 26 years.

Ms Yang opened her first agency in 2000, then undertaking a postgraduate degree in Property Investment and Development at University of NSW in 2008. Later that year, she established a project marketing company at Chatswood, specialising in residential property sales, property management, project marketing and property investment consulting.
