Raine & Horne Palmerston grabs gong at real estate awards

 
The Annual Raine & Horne Awards proved a high flying success for Raine & Horne Palmerston at the stunning Aviation Heritage Museum on Saturday 17 July.

Sales Consultant Susie Patton-Quinn grabbed second place for Settled Sales by Value and beat a hot field of sales contenders.

General Manager of Raine & Horne Darwin Glenn Grantham said it was a well deserved award for a fantastic job.

“While Darwin has enjoyed decent returns, it’s been a challenging year for the Palmerston market as the volume of sales has significantly dropped.”

“Achieving second place for Settled Sales is a feat in itself and just goes to show what a dedicated and exceptional member of the team Susie is,” Glenn said.

This is Susie’s seventh Chairman’s Award having also won a Gold Award for Sales Excellence in December 2009 and the No.1 Sales Person for SA/NT in December 2008.

Like Darwin, the Palmerston market is dominated by owner/occupiers taking up roughly 80%, while investors represent the remainder.

“The top end of the market has levelled out, whereas the middle to bottom end is going strong,” Glenn said. "The median price for a three bedroom house in the Palmerston area is $507,000 with a rental return of approximately $490.00.

Raine & Horne Chief Executive Officer, Angus Raine, who presented the award, commended Susie for her outstanding contribution and dedication to the property sector in Palmerston and the Northern Territory.
