Raine & Horne puts up its shingle in beautiful Narooma

Raine & Horne Narooma will officially open its doors on December 1 at 114 Wagonga Street, Narooma creating a successful trifecta of local offices which includes Batemans Bay and Moruya. 

Raine & Horne CEO, Angus Raine said the new office was a welcome addition to the strong network of South Coast offices which comprise Nowra, Mollymook, Milton, Shoalhaven Heads, Austinmer, Warrawong, Batemans Bay, Moruya, Kiama, Huskisson, Berry, Wollongong, Sussex Inlet, Culburra Beach and Callala Bay.

Co-owners of Raine & Horne Narooma, Brian Hastie and Andrew McPhail, said the decision to re-brand as Raine & Horne was partly due to the fact that Raine & Horne Batemans Bay and Moruya were considered market leaders, so it "made sense to be a part of such a successful franchise". 

Mr Hastie said the business had been operational for 40 years before he bought it four years ago. 

"We opened as an independent real estate agency then joined a competitor and now we're excited about our decision to re-brand as Raine & Horne," Mr Hastie said.

Brian Hastie is no newcomer to the world of real estate. He has been in the industry for 23 years in NSW and Queensland and re-located from Brisbane to take up the office in Narooma. 

"It is a beautiful part of the world. I love the temperate climate and the relaxed lifestyle of the South Coast," Mr Hastie said.

"I also love real estate and in the four years I've been here, the office has made strong sales with an increase in market share and holds a large rent roll. We're confident the office will go from strength to strength under the banner of an industry leader such as Raine & Horne."

Raine & Horne Narooma co-owner Andrew McPhail also expressed a great affinity with the South Coast. He has been visiting his family's holiday home in the area since he was a boy.  

Mr McPhail made the move to real estate after a successful career in management with NSW Health.
