Raine & Horne rebrands financial services arm

Media release - 29th October, 2015

Raine & Horne Financial Services has undertaken a major brand refresh, appointed a new general manager – experienced banker Dawn Inanli – and is expanding its mortgage broking, insurance and superannuation businesses.

Our Broker logo“We are rebadging our financial services business to Our Broker to reflect the inclusive, personalised service that Raine & Horne has been famous for since 1883,” says Angus Raine, Executive Chairman, Raine & Horne.

Our Broker will continue to offer residential and commercial property loans and business loans from a lending panel in excess of 30 lenders.

As part of its expanded suite of services, Our Broker plans to develop the RhSuper offering and develop its home and contents and landlord insurance offerings. The firm will also offer income protection cover, mortgage protection, business insurance products, and even motor vehicle insurance.

“We are talking to a number of service providers for insurance, superannuation and lending, so it’s a completely fresh start for the business,” adds Mr Raine, who is enthusiastic about the prospect of working with Ms Inanli.

“Dawn has enjoyed a very successful career, first in sales and marketing in the UK, before a stint with the United Nations in The Hague, Holland. While in Holland, she moved into franchising with financial services firm, Hypotheek Visie.”

Ms Inanli immigrated to Australia in 2001 and has enjoyed a very successful financial services career with a number of mortgage broking aggregators, and as a senior executive with Meriton’s investment and finance division and then with financial institution Bankwest.

“Dawn won a number of awards at Bankwest, the Mortgage & Finance Association of Australia (MFAA) and an Australian Mortgage Award. She also has extensive regulatory and change management experience from her time at Bankwest, which will be critical to the next phase in the growth of Our Broker,” says Mr Raine.

“As our General Manager of Financial Services, Dawn will help us meet the demands of our clients and I’m looking forward to working with her to expand our service offering.”

Ms Inanli says the ability to work with a broker to find a suitable mortgage or insurance product is a winning solution for time-poor property buyers.

“Sitting in a bank finalising a mortgage application is never pleasurable and using a broker gives borrowers wider access to lenders and different opportunities. We will look after our clients by matching them with the most suitable home loan.

“My skill set is mortgage broking, so I understand what the bank needs and what the borrower wants,” says Ms Inanli.

Working closely with a mortgage broker also enables real estate agents to extend their offering to their customers, which will help deliver repeat business opportunities.

“On the flipside, a closely aligned mortgage broker with a healthy client database can be a great source of new appraisals and listings for agents.”

Our Broker is seeking to recruit new brokers in Australia. For more information, contact Dawn Inanli, General Manger, Financial Services on (+612) 9258 5400.
