Raine & Horne Rural Sydney flying high with new recruit

Media release - 26th August, 2015

Leading property firm Raine & Horne Rural Sydney has boosted its head office team with the appointment of former farmer, rural leasing specialist and pilot, Anthony Baldry.

“We are in serious expansion mode and Anthony has been appointed to deliver a high level of service to our large corporate customers in Sydney,” said Andrew Tout, Co-Principal of Raine & Horne Rural Sydney.

Anthony Baldry“Anthony’s recruitment will free up our people on the ground out in the bush to get on with delivering solutions to our rural customer base.”

A graduate of Orange Agricultural College, Mr Baldry, who attended a leading private school in Sydney, joins Raine & Horne Rural Sydney after a 16-year career in farm management and rural leasing with his family business, D.A.M. & J.J. Baldry, based in the Wallabeen district of Southern NSW.

“D.A.M. & J.J. Baldry was involved in establishing the systems that we currently use for the leasing of rural real estate today,” said Mr Tout.

“Anthony will work with the broader Raine & Horne Rural team but being based in Sydney will enable him to have a particular focus on rural properties within 3 hours of the CBD.

“Anthony is a standout recruit, who most impressively is a qualified pilot and who has a meticulous eye for detail. This will be a great asset to have as he is representing our business in Sydney.”

The appointment of Mr Baldry coincides with the decision by a major accounting firm to appoint Raine & Horne Rural Sydney to assist in the restructuring of the business of one its major rural clients.

“Since we launched over a year ago, we have completed some major sales in NSW and jointly with Raine & Horne Rural Brisbane in Queensland,” said Mr Tout.

“In reality we are marketing properties in NSW, Queensland, Victoria and Western Australia, a result that is due to a combination of our deep rural connections and the reach of the Raine & Horne brand,” said Mr Tout.

“We are also listing plenty of rural properties and are receiving excellent feedback from our customers and even our competitors.

“We understand what farmers want to achieve and we are delivering bespoke solutions, which are not necessarily traditional property sales campaigns.”
