Raine & Horne’s leading lights announced at major real estate industry awards

Hundreds of Raine & Horne’s best and brightest from NSW and the ACT gathered in Sydney on Saturday night to celebrate the leading property group’s best principals, sales agents and property managers for 2013.

The glittering event, held at the famed Four Seasons Hotel, unveiled a number of first-time winners including Garth Hunter, Co-Principal of Raine & Horne Terrigal-Avoca Beach, who grabbed the hotly-contested Top Salesperson (Dollar Value) category.

Raine & Horne Terrigal-Avoca Beach also scored a first-ever win in the Top Coastal Office category, finishing ahead of South Coast rivals Raine & Horne Batemans Bay and Raine & Horne Mollymook/Milton.

Another Central Coast agent, Andrew Sorensen, Principal of Raine & Horne Charmhaven, also featured prominently, grabbing first in the Top Salesperson (Number of Sales) category just ahead of Ric Serrao from Raine & Horne Double Bay.

Mr Sorensen also pipped Mr Serrao as the network’s number one auction listing agent in NSW.

However the Eastern Suburbs sales ace turned the tables on his Central Coast rival with a win in the Top Salesperson – Principal (Dollar Value) category.

Raine & Horne Double Bay, led by Mr Serrao and his partners Martin Maskin, Barry Goldman and Mark Goldman dominated the major residential office awards with wins in the Top Office (Number of Sales) and Top Office (Dollar Value) categories.

Raine & Horne Mudgee was named Top Rural Office (Dollar Value), while Raine & Horne Bathurst continued its annual dominance of the Top Country Office (Dollar Value) category.

Raine & Horne also announced its commercial office network awards for 2013, with Raine & Horne Commercial Canberra overshadowing its rivals.

The leading ACT firm grabbed Top Commercial Office (Dollar Value) and principal Frank Morella scored first in the Top Commercial Salesperson (Leasing Dollar Value) category. Raine & Horne Commercial Canberra’s Steve Burke was also rewarded with the Top Commercial Salesperson (Number of Leasing Transactions) prize.

Steven Dick, from Raine & Horne Commercial Newcastle, was named Top Commercial Salesperson (Sales Dollar Value) for 2013, and Nicholas Harkins from Raine & Horne Commercial North Sydney took out the Top Commercial Property Manager category.

Another popular winner on the night was Dion Markovics, from Raine & Horne Double Bay, who grabbed the Rookie of the Year award for salespeople.
