Raine & Horne scores winning Sunshine Coast trifecta

Media release - 25th May, 2015

In a major coup for Raine & Horne, three major Sunshine Coast real estate offices have switched allegiances to the 132-year old real estate juggernaut.

42 Springs Drive, Little MountainRaine & Horne Caloundra, Raine & Horne Kawana Waters and Raine & Horne Commercial Sunshine Coast officially celebrated their shift into the famous Raine & Horne colours on 1 May, with the recent sale of a four bedroom, two bathroom house with ducted air and a swimming pool, at 42 Springs Drive, Little Mountain for $595,500.

“This was a street record price and was above the vendor’s expectations and represents a very promising start to life with Raine & Horne for our newest business,” said Angus Raine, Executive Chairman and CEO of Raine & Horne.

“Expanding with three well-regarded offices on the Sunshine Coast is a major win for Raine & Horne and demonstrates yet again that we are a brand in the ascendancy in Queensland.

“We have an exceptional corporate team in Queensland, which is led by our experienced General Manager Steve Worrad. They leave no stone unturned in the pursuit of quality expansion and have beefed up our presence in Queensland significantly over the last 18 months.

RH Kawana Waters - RHC Sunshine Coast“Our network growth is timely as the property market in Queensland is starting to show the form that we’ve come to expect from the southern states, as the Little Mountain sale demonstrates.

“It’s also a tremendous win for our group that such a well-respected agent and internet entrepreneur such as Scott Hull and his team at Raine & Horne Caloundra, Raine & Horne Kawana Waters and Raine & Horne Commercial Sunshine Coast have joined us.”

Mr Hull, an award-winning real estate agent who has launched a number of successful internet start-ups, agrees that the Raine & Horne Queensland corporate team delivers blue-chip quality service to its offices.

“Angus is overseeing an incredible team culture at the Raine & Horne corporate office in Queensland,” he said.

“The people Angus has assembled in the Queensland Corporate office such as Steve Worrad and David Bennett are amazing. We’ve had more office visits from Raine & Horne executives in the last few weeks than our previous group managed in seven years.

“It is also clear to my team and I that Angus and his executive team understand real estate better than the competition.

“The Raine & Horne brand also has a great reputation, with an unparalleled record for the consistency of its leadership. The Raine family have been at the helm ever since the business launched in 1883.”

The company’s excellent team culture has clearly spread to the group’s 300 offices worldwide, according to Mr Hull.

“When I owned and operated a real estate office in Dubbo a few years ago, I was envious of Raine & Horne Dubbo as it had the largest market share, a squeaky clean reputation, great sales people and I would have loved to work with them – and now I am!
