Merimbula, NSW (18 December 2017) – Raine & Horne Snowy Mountains has launched a coastal office in the holiday town of Merimbula.

Raine & Horne Merimbula is led by Marita Brandauer, Matthew Lowe, and Kathryn Healy, who are joint principals of Raine & Horne Snowy Mountains, which has offices in Jindabyne and Thredbo. 

“We have a significant holiday rental business in the Snowy Mountains, which enjoys its peak season in the winter months,” said Ms Brandauer, who oversees a robust sales and permanent and holiday rental business in Jindabyne and Thredbo.

“It makes prudent business sense that our holiday letting systems and processes will translate to a coastal holiday location such as Merimbula, which is attractive to holidaymakers from Sydney, Canberra, and Melbourne because of its proximity to the NSW and Victorian border.

“We chose Merimbula because it is the closest seaside resort to the Snowy Mountains, and we all spend plenty of time in this beautiful seaside town,” said Ms Brandauer.

The decision to open a coastal business will provide Ms Brandauer, Mr Lowe and Ms Healy with an element of commercial diversification.

“While Jindabyne and Thredbo enjoy the benefits of ecotourism in the summer months, the ski season is our busiest time of the year.

“The decision to open on the coast means we can deliver our unique holiday letting services during the surfing season too,” said Ms Brandauer.

Acquisition to fastback growth of Raine & Horne Merimbula

As part of the launch, Raine & Horne Merimbula has acquired the long-established Coast Real Estate, led by seasoned property specialists David and Lynne Wunsch. Mr and Mrs Wunsch will continue with Raine & Horne Merimbula in the short term, however, are looking forward to retirement shortly.
