Raine & Horne springs into action with launch of new inner Brisbane office

Media release - 28th October, 2015

Superbrand Raine & Horne has launched an assault on Brisbane’s inner city with the opening of Raine & Horne Spring Hill.

“We have ramped up our presence in Queensland significantly over the last 18 months and now we are focussed on Brisbane’s thriving inner-city markets, with Raine & Horne Spring Hill set to be joined shortly by new offices in Woolloongabba and Ascot,” said Raine & Horne Executive Chairman, Angus Raine.

Raine & Horne Spring Hill, located in Brisbane’s inner northern suburbs at 448 Boundary Street, Spring Hill, will be led by experienced agents Sally and Dean Scott, who have been prominent in the local market for almost a decade.

“Sally and Dean Scott operated a successful management rights business, Spring Hill Central Apartments, for the past decade, which specialised in short-term accommodation for holidaymakers and executives working in Brisbane,” said Mr Raine.

“They will fold the management rights business into Raine & Horne Spring Hill’s property management business, which they will run in conjunction with residential sales.”

The mother and son team decided to link with Raine & Horne for a number of reasons following a positive referral from an existing Raine & Horne agent.

“Sally has worked with Mark Fluhart from Raine & Horne Onsite Rights on a number of sales transactions, and Mark urged us to consider joining Raine & Horne, which is a great brand, once we took the decision to establish a sales and property management business,” said Mr Scott.

“Mark introduced us to David Bennett, one of Raine & Horne’s business support and development managers in Brisbane, who has been able to answer all our questions and has coached us through the transition.”

The 132-year old Superbrand’s training programs have also impressed the new Raine & Horne Spring Hill principals.

“While we have extensive real estate experience, there are some differences between management rights sales and leasing, and residential sales and property management.

“Raine & Horne’s training, which is led by David Bennett, is already helping us bridge this knowledge gap.”

Raine & Horne Spring Hill will provide owners, buyers, investors and tenants with additional choice, according to Mr Scott.

“Spring Hill is dominated by two real estate brands and we believe hoisting the Raine & Horne flag in this market will deliver more choice to consumers,” said Mr Scott.

“We’re confident we’ll be successful because we have a strong database of contacts, which has been built through the successful operation of Spring Hill Central Apartments, and our deep well of local business and community connections.”
