Regional WA offices rock industry awards

Raine & Horne’s Rockingham Beach, Mandurah and Bunbury offices proved the big winners when the leading real estate group revealed its brightest stars in WA for 2014.

Held at the glittering Swan Room in the Parmelia Hilton Perth on Saturday 14^th March, the Raine & Horne WA Annual Awards proved a major milestone for Raine & Horne Rockingham Beach, which took out a variety of gongs including Top Auction Office and Top Office (Number of Sales). Its gun sales agent, David Dennett, also grabbed first place in the hotly-contested Top Salesperson (Number of Sales) category.

“David Dennett, who is a consistent winner of sales awards at state and national level, is able to maintain his winning ways as he takes a methodical approach to delivering exceptional customer service to his vendors,” said Mark Grisdale, WA State Manager, Raine & Horne.

“David is also very diligent at providing customer feedback, and I expect that he will be among the winners at the 2015 Raine & Horne National Awards, which will be held in Cairns in July.”

Other major winners included Peter Vetten, Principal of Raine & Horne Mandurah, who accepted the award for Top Salesperson – Principal (Number of Sales) and Top Salesperson – Principal (Dollar Value). Raine & Horne Mandurah was also crowned Top Office (Dollar Value).

In his acceptance speech, Mr Vetten attributed the success of Raine & Horne Mandurah to the growing reach of the 132-year old real estate firm in Western Australia.

“With Raine & Horne, our customers have history and integrity on their side, however what I like about the current leadership team led by CEO Angus Raine, is that it is always looking to enhance the products and services we deliver to our customers,” said Mr Vetten.

“To this end Raine & Horne has a revamped website set to launch which will attract even more eyeballs to our online presence, while the corporate team is regularly introducing and tweaking existing systems to help make us more profitable.”

Mr Vetten also applauded the hard work of his own team at Raine & Horne Mandurah.

“We have transitioned from a small office to a staff of more than 20, and I believe we are well-placed to become an even more significant player in the competitive Mandurah real estate market,” he added.

However, star sales agent Susan Pitts, from Raine & Horne Bunbury, was able to grab some of the individual limelight from Mr Vetten by scoring first place in Top Salesperson (Dollar Value) category. Ms Pitts was also a winner of the Raine & Horne WA Award for Excellence, and she is also expected to feature prominently when the Superbrand holds its national awards later in 2015. 

On the commercial front, Simon Matthews from Raine & Horne Commercial WA was named Top Commercial Salesperson (Sales Dollar Growth) with colleague Matthew Edwards taking out the Top Commercial Salesperson (Leasing Dollar Value) and Top Commercial Salesperson (Number of Leasing Transactions) categories.

Cayley Melling from Raine & Horne Commercial WA grabbed first place as the firm’s best commercial property manager in Western Australia.
