Rural property buyers can’t Lohse with launch of Raine & Horne Rural Mundubbera

Media release - 3rd September, 2015

Experienced rural real estate experts Graham and Jenny Lohse have joined with one of Australia’s leading real estate firms to launch Raine & Horne Rural Mundubbera.

Mr Lohse, who is switching his successful independent real estate firm G.V. Lohse & Co – Mundubbera to the famous charcoal and gold of Raine & Horne Rural, says the ability to leverage the support and exposure of a national Superbrand was central to his decision.

Graham Lohse (L) with Raine & Horne Rural Brisbane Principal, Danny Bukowski“We’ve been operating a long time under our own steam from our premises at 42 Lyons Street, Mundubbera, but I realised that the best way forward is under a respected and known brand such as Raine & Horne Rural,” says Mr Lohse, who celebrated 50 years as a real estate agent on 12th February, 2015.

“I have always operated from Mundubbera and my longevity in the district means that I know just about all of the landholders too, which is a massive advantage for Raine & Horne Rural Mundubbera.

“We are a well-known and respected agency with a reputation for integrity and honesty, which is exactly the same as Raine & Horne – a 132-year old, fourth generation family owned and operated firm.”

Mr Lohse, a licenced real estate agent and auctioneer, says his highly trained team of rural real estate specialists will deliver property sales and management, as well as clearing and livestock sales.

The Mundubbera district, which is located in the Wide Bay-Burnett region of Queensland, around 200 kilometres inland from Maryborough, is renowned for citrus, fruit growing and beef.

“The farms here are predominantly family-owned, though some agribusiness companies are active in the fruit growing sector,” says Mr Lohse.

Angus Raine, Executive Chairman, Raine & Horne, says he is delighted that Graham and Jenny Lohse have decided to link with his company.

“Graham and Jenny have owned and operated a very successful independent agency for many decades, so it’s a significant coup for our expanding Raine & Horne Rural brand to link with such an experienced duo,” says Mr Raine.

“Graham is a well-known member of the local community thanks to a 30-year membership of the local Rotary Club and as a member of the Mundubbera Golf Club.

“He has also been a leading rural real estate agent in Mundubbera for many years and I’m looking forward to working with Graham and Jenny for many more years to ensure we deliver the very best rural sales and property management services in the Wide Bay–Burnett region.”
