Technology leader Raine & Horne launches new internal communication strategy

Leading Australian property group Raine & Horne has launched Scout, its new communication and learning portal.

“Scout brings a fresh approach to information sharing and gives our principals, sales agents, property managers, marketing and support staff effective tools which will add value to their daily business activities,” said Angus Raine, Chairman and CEO, Raine & Horne.

“It will also help Raine & Horne Corporate engage with every member of our office network, and ensure we deliver excellent work environments that will facilitate increased productivity and profitability.”

Scout, which will be integrated with Raine & Horne’s social media platforms, will provide all members of staff with access to the latest company, industry, regulatory and training news, according to Mr Raine.

“It will also link to other internal systems such as rhcompass, our business operations support system, as well as our marketing materials, templates and user guides,” said Mr Raine.

“News feeds are continually updated, and it will also be a virtual podium for announcements, events and reward and recognition campaigns.

“Scout will enable staff to complete online training courses, which is great news for our extensive network of regional, rural and coastal offices.”

Scout will immediately launch two online real estate courses developed by Think Real Estate, a leader in real estate training, property education and auctioneering services, with another four scheduled by the end of the year.

In addition to training and information, Raine & Horne staff will be able to track their sales rankings on a daily basis.

“Real estate agents love benchmarking themselves against their peers, and rankings will be updated nightly from rhcompass, which will encourage them to keep their sales data up-to-the-minute. This will be very useful for monitoring trends and business growth,” said Mr Raine.

“We’re excited about Scout, and that’s why we’ve invested significant resources into its development and will continue to do so.”
