Terrigal property market drives major real estate merger

Raine & Horne Terrigal has expanded its operations in response to a surge in home buyer and investor opportunities in the local real estate market.

In a significant move for the Central Coast market, Raine & Horne Terrigal has merged with Ray White Terrigal to create a super property team, which will deliver the excellence in sales and property management services.

The state-of-the art premises located at 78 Terrigal Esplanade will focus on property sales, while Raine & Horne Terrigal will continue to operate its successful property management business from 104 Terrigal Esplanade.

Raine & Horne Terrigal & Avoca general manager Brett Hunter said the merger meant Raine & Horne Terrigal could provide owners, landlords, home buyers, investors and tenants with even more attentive service through its wealth of experience and focus on results.

Mr Hunter, who is also a director of the Real Estate Institute of NSW, added that the timing was right for the merger as Terrigal market was strong with a steady stream of buyer enquiry, while days on market down to 60 from 112 days.

“We are receiving a good mix of enquiries from owner occupiers as well as local, national and international investors attracted by the Central Coast’s magnificent coastal living," Mr Hunter said.

“Generous yields of 4.5% and decent long term growth are also big investor attractions.

The start of the financial year had also prompted more investor interest.

“The start of the tax year represents an excellent time for landlords and investors to rebalance property portfolios.

The merger also meant that Raine & Horne Terrigal was now one of the biggest property management teams on the Central Coast.

“Yet no rental home is too big or small for Raine & Horne Terrigal,” Mr Hunter said.

“We have the breadth of experience, systems and training in place to manage rental homes leasing for as little as $100 a week through to prestige, beach-front rentals generating many thousands of dollars a week for landlords."

Raine & Horne CEO Angus Raine said that anyone in the Terrigal real estate market - whether they were selling, buying or renting - would be wise to have the biggest and the best real estate company working for them.

"Clearly, the best team is Raine & Horne Terrigal," Mr Raine said.
