Toowoomba property firm’s winning ways underscore surging real estate market

Media release - 25 February 2015

Raine & Horne Toowoomba proved a big winner at Raine & Horne’s annual Queensland awards held at the luxurious Hilton Brisbane on Saturday 21 February, 2015.

The leading real estate firm was confirmed as Raine & Horne’s top office in Queensland based on number of sales. It also added the trophy for the best office based on dollar value in 2014 to its growing collection of silverware.

In the very competitive Top Salesperson (Dollar Value) category, two Raine & Horne Toowoomba sales agents Justine Dill (second) and Bruce Gatfield (third) featured among the top ten. Mr Gatfield also finished second in the Top Salesperson (Number of Sales) category, while Ms Dill placed fifth.

In recognition of their joint success, Bruce and Justine were hoisted into Raine & Horne’s exclusive Chairman’s Club, which recognises the best sales agents in 2014,” said Andrew Lynch, Principal of Raine & Toowoomba.

Grace Hilder, a property manager with Raine & Horne Toowoomba, was also elevated into the Chairman’s Club in recognition of her commitment to Toowoomba’s rental market last year.

Planning coupled with a team oriented approach is the fundamental to Raine & Horne Toowoomba’s enduring success, according to Mr Lynch.

“With 32 direct competitors in Toowoomba and surrounding areas, who employ around 300 sales agents collectively, we can’t afford to rest on our laurels.

“We therefore create bespoke marketing plans for every property we sell, and this is the key to us generating repeat business, healthy sales and robust revenues,” said Mr Lynch.

Speaking of returns, Mr Lynch said that he expects March to be one of the best-selling months in three to four years for Toowoomba real estate.

“This is great news for our immediate cash flow, however the challenge is that with plenty of buyer demand, the supply of quality properties in Toowoomba is light on.

“The supply situation will only worsen once we hit Easter, while another interest rate cut will turbo-charge real estate demand.”

“The bottom-line is that if you’re considering selling a Toowoomba property, autumn 2015 will be a very good opportunity to make a profitable sale,” said Mr Lynch.
